We are currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Parts Clerk and Planner to support production at our Lenexa plant. Essential to TC Transcontinental Packaging operations, the Maintenance Parts Clerk and Planner orders replacement parts labor, and cost estimates needed to complete the work, coordinating the schedule for work. Organize preventative maintenance (PM) maintenance work, ensuring follow-up and reporting maintenance department team accountability to optimize equipment condition and reliability. Participates in maintenance planning and project meetings for maximum productivity, while meeting or exceeding safety regulations.

- Help develop and maintain an inventory system and naming conventions for the maintenance shop and parts room
- Keep records of parts coming in and going out of maintenance, and match up with records from purchasing and receiving departments
- Help develop minimum and maximum quantities for critical parts to ensure that machines continue to run as normal
- Prepare rebuild kits for maintenance technicians and incoming/outgoing material to local machine or repair shops
- Coordinate incoming/outgoing materials for local repairs or machining
- Monitor the PM program and ensure timeliness of preventative maintenance is completed. Follows up to ensure work orders have been completed and closed
- Develop and document a Maintenance resource library and parts supply room CMMS
- Must be flexible to be at the plant whenever needed, including nights and early mornings and weekends/holidays as needed.
- High school Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- 1+ years industrial maintenance parts experience
- 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in printing/converting manufacturing desired, flexo a plus
- Strong organizational skills required to manage work requests and PM prioritization to ensure workflow efficiencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Must have experience in the operation of a computerized inventory management system (CMMS)
- Proficiency with MS Office (work, excel, powerpoint)
- Familiarity with proper maintenance and machine shop techniques and procedures
- Ability to tolerate strong solvent smell in parts of the plant
