We are looking for an experienced project manager for our Boucherville plant. This person will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the completion of projects for the clients under their responsibility. In addition, they must constantly monitor the flow of operational information to ensure that it is complete and complies with the requirements of the various departments.

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Ensure proactive and ongoing communication with the customer to fully understand their order and needs. Then prepare work files in the system during order confirmations, planning all production steps to maximize performance and efficiency.
  • Optimize production by grouping several files together when appropriate to maximize the use of raw materials.
  • Process and respond quickly and appropriately to all customer inquiries.
  • Write work files clearly, completely, and accurately to provide all the information necessary for the smooth manufacturing of the product.
  • Reserve the required raw materials to ensure their availability at the time of production.
  • Coordinate and monitor work between the different sectors of the graphic chain.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to effectively identify and correct any problems that arise during production.

Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • College diploma (D.E.C.) in printing or equivalent
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in Office Suite tools (Excel, in particular)
  • Good command of French and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience with ERP systems (an asset)
  • Attention to detail, excellent learning ability, analytical and problem-solving skills, sense of priorities, and good stress management
