We are currently looking for a full-time Printing Press Operator to operate a 10-color Flexographic printing press. The operator ensures the operation of the press to meet TC Griffin production standards, press speed, press efficiency, waste, and utilization.

When your actions lead to success.

• Operates and directs the operation of Windmoller & Holscher 10-color flexographic printing press to meet current Business Plan Objectives for press utilization, press speed, production efficiency and waste

• Organizes work for smooth, efficient operations. Reviews production schedules, work order information, and other production documentation for completeness and accuracy. Coordinates resolution of production problems and communicates resolutions to management team

• Maintains quality standards by ensuring TC Griffin’s Quality Plan guidelines are followed. Inspects press production and quality checklist daily. Performs on the spot corrections of deficiencies and/or coordinates with maintenance, quality, or other support group for corrective action

• Coordinates production and maintenance efforts to increase run time. Ensures planned maintenance is complete in a routine and timely manner. Reports any process and equipment problems to management team

• Ensures that there is communication between all crew members and shares knowledge of press operation

• Troubleshoots problems and implements actions to prevent reoccurrence. Trains the Front Man and Back Man on the problem-solving measures taken to continually improve the crew’s skill base

• Sets the example of safe operation by following established safety guidelines and holds self and others accountable to safety standards

• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as required
