We are looking for Digital Finishing Operators (i-Cut)reporting directly to the ISM Supervisor. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining digital cutting equipment while ensuring the highest standards of safety, precision, quality, and productivity.
The hourly range for this position is $22 to $28 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.
Shift Information: 12 hour shifts
2 day shift positions - 7:00am-7:00pm
2 night shift positions - 7:00pm-7:00am
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success:
- You’re able to set up, program, and operate i-Cut digital cutting systems to meet production requirements
- You’re able to review work orders, specifications, and artwork files to ensure accurate cutting and finishing
- You’re able to monitor product quality and perform in-process inspections to ensure customer specifications are met
- You’re able to maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation
- You’re able to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures
- You’re comfortable troubleshooting equipment and production issues to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly
- You’re comfortable performing machine adjustments, tool changes, and routine maintenance to maximize equipment performance
- You’re comfortable handling materials efficiently while minimizing waste
- You’re comfortable working closely with Prepress, Printing, Finishing, and Production teams to achieve production goals and customer expectations
Qualifications
When your expertise drives us:
- You have hands-on production experience with Styrene, Sintra (PVC), Coroplast, Gatorboard, Infinity Board, Die-Bond, Acrylic, and other large-format print and display materials
- You have previous experience operating i-Cut digital cutting systems or similar finishing equipment
- You have experience within the printing, packaging, signage, labels, or graphic communications industry
- You have the ability to read and interpret work orders, production specifications, and technical drawings
- You have strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- You have basic computer skills and familiarity with production software
- You have good mechanical aptitude with effective troubleshooting abilities
- You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- You have knowledge of i-Cut software and digital finishing workflows is an asset
- You have the ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift production materials
- You have flexibility to work overtime when required
